About Extended Pooling

This Extended Pooling yarn was developed in collaboration with Xandy Peters specifically for the Flower Bouquet Shawl technique.

While it can be used for other assigned pooling patterns, it contains longer engineered colour sections than traditional assigned pooling yarns and was designed specifically to create knitted flower effects.

Regular assigned pooling yarns — including existing assigned pooling yarns from Feisty Fibres — will not create these flowers.

Learn the flower stitch with Xandy’s FREE Floral Garland pattern and tutorial so you’re ready to cast on when your yarn arrives.

Care Instructions

This yarn is machine washable. However, for finished shawls, hand washing in cool water is strongly recommended.

Use only a small amount of soap if necessary. Do not allow the item to soak for extended periods. Fully saturate with water, squeeze gently, and lay flat to dry.

Some colour runoff may occur during the first wash.

Photo & Dye Lot Note

Product photos are taken to best represent true colour. Colours may vary slightly from monitor to monitor.

As with all hand-dyed yarn, slight variations between dye lots and skeins are normal.
